The City That Works

The Jordan Years X Rhymefest X Shadenfreude

The Hideout

Just played a quick little show at The Hideout in Chicago.  Cool little joint kinda off the beaten path, yet right around a lot of stuff.  They have a couple big ass swordfish hanging on the wall…Check it out.

Snake Skin Tie.

Apparently, Yung Loyd is a regular patron as well….nice!

Pin-Ups

At New Wave Coffee the other day in Logan Square and ran into this calendar featuring my friend Dea holding it down for May!  Very nice.

Band Practice

West Town Recording

The Jordan Years’ Keyboardist Michael Cole.

Mr. Andersen doing what he does best.

Sneak Preview

New website concept for The Jordan Years.  Whatchathink???

Berwyn

Quick road trip last night to Berwyn IL. Our drummer Joe lives in Berwyn.  His house is nice and he has a giant dog and a lot of drumsticks.  Shouts to Rich Koz.

If you ever find yourself in Berwyn, stop at Gina’s Italian Ice, Buona Beef, Turano Bakery, and catch a show at Fitzgerald’s…Who remembers Wilk’s?

Palmer Square

Sunday Snapshots

Matlock was in the studio tonight working on his new album “2707.” Special guest JUICE came through to add a verse and bless the session with his unique personality and energy.  It was a good night.

Saturday Snapshots

Award Tour

New song from The Gent$ (Pugs Atomz, Ill Legit, Wes Restless).  It’s called “Award Tour” and it’s a tribute to dreaming big!  The joint was produced by Vanysh and features our good friend Walt Litman (aka Awdazcate) on the commentary. Look out for The Gent$ new mixtape “High Profile” to be released on DJbooth.net 4/28/10.
